After being retired for a few years I helped my daughter set up her business and enjoyed having a purpose and keeping busy again. I found that I liked sourcing stock and looking for new suppliers. When my services were no longer required (grandkids now at school) I was back to twiddling my thumbs, so that is when I decided on an online store and 1964 was launched.  Since my first day, I have tried to bring the best selection of products and merchandise to my customers. In a short time, 1964 has become synonymous with quality, and I do my best to ensure a permanent variety of fantastic home and giftware along with unique/quirky and limited edition items to fit any budget.
